Terms and Conditions

 

Thanks for using the Locum Passport. These terms cover your use and access to our services. by using our services you’re agreeing to be bound by these terms and our privacy policy. 

 

Intellectual property: You agree that the Locum Passport service, including but not limited to Locum Passport products, graphics, user interface, editorial content and the scripts and software used to implement the locum passport service, contains proprietary information and material that is owned by the Locum Passport ltd and/or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright. You agree that you will not use such proprietary information or materials or materials in any way whatsoever except for use of the Locum Passport service in compliance with this agreement.

 

No portion of the locum passport service may be reproduced in any form or by any means, except as expressly permitted in these terms. You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell distribute or create derivative works based on the iTunes service in any manner, and you shall not exploit the Locum Passport service in any unauthorised way whatsoever, including, but not limited to, by trespass or burdening network capacity.

 

Your content and permissionsownership: You retain all rights and ownership in your content. Locum Passport doesn’t claim ownership rights in your content.

 

License to your content: Even though we don’t claim ownership of your content, we do need certain licenses to your content in order to operate and enable the services. When you upload or submit content to our services, you grant the Locum Passport (and our parents and affiliates) a worldwide license to communicate, distribute host, make modifications or derivative works (solely for the purpose of better showcasing you), publish, reproduce, store and use such content. The license granted by you is for the only purpose of operating, marketing, promoting and improving our services. We will attribute to you if we incorporate your content into a Locum Passport feature or into promotional or marketing materials.

 

We need your permission to do things like host your content, back it up and sharing it when you ask us to. Our services also provide you with features like photo thumbnails, document previews, easy sorting, editing, and sharing. These and other features may require our systems to access, store and scan your content. You give us permission to do those things and this permission extends to our affiliates and trusted third parties we work with. 

 

Content review: You acknowledge that, in order to ensure compliance with legal obligations, Locum Passport may be required to review content submitted to the service to determine whether it is illegal or whether it violates these terms (such as when unlawful content is reported to us). We may also modify, prevent access to, delete or refuse to display, share or accept content that we believe violates the law or these terms. However, the Locum Passport otherwise has no obligation to monitor or review any content submitted to the services.

 

Unlawful content: You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the service. Do not copy, upload or share content unless you have the right to do so. 

 

Paid accounts: You can increase the functionality of the Locum Passport by adding paid features to your account (becoming a ‘Pro member’). We’ll automatically bill you from the date you convert into a pro member and on each periodic renewal until cancellation. If you’re on an annual plan you’ll be contacted within a reasonable period of time before the renewal date, reminding you of the payment that is about to be renewed. We’ll charge tax when required to do so.

 

You can cancel you pro account at any time, however, refunds are only issued if required by law. your paid account will remain in effect until its canceled or terminated under these terms.

 

We reserve the right to remove, suspend or reduce the app’s ability should you pay your fee late. We may change these fees but will give you advance notice by email to the address associated with your account. You’re free to stop using our Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services with notice to you if:(a) you’re in breach of these Terms,(b) you’re using the Services in a manner that would cause a real risk of harm or loss to us or other users, or(c) you don’t have a Pro Account and haven’t accessed our Services for 12 consecutive months.

 

Any changes we makeWe’ll provide you with reasonable advance notice via the email address associated with your account to remedy the activity that prompted us to contact you.

 

If after such notice you fail to take the steps we ask of you, we’ll terminate or suspend your access to the Services.We won’t provide notice before termination where:(a) you’re in material breach of these Terms,(b) doing so would cause us legal liability or compromise our ability to provide the Services to our other users, or(c) we’re prohibited from doing so by lawWe may decide to discontinue the Services in response to unforeseen circumstances. If we do so, we’ll give you reasonable prior notice. If we discontinue Services in this way before the end of any fixed or minimum term you have paid us for, we’ll refund the portion of the fees you have pre-paid but haven’t received Services for.

 

Limitation of Liability: Locum Passport, it’s affiliates and suppliers won’t be liable for:i. ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ORii. ANY LOSS OF USE, DATA, BUSINESS OR PROFITS, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY.THESE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT LOCUM PASSPORT OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES HAVE BEEN WARNED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.LOCUM PASSPORT AND ITS AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF BUSINESS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. DROPBOX AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT, WHETHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE, OF ANY USERS OF THE SERVICES.

 

Raising issues: We want to address your concerns without needing a formal legal case. Before filing a claim against Locum Passport, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting disputes@locumpassport.co.uk. We’ll try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within 21 days of submission, you or Locum Passport may bring a formal proceeding.

 

We may revise these Terms from time to time to better reflect:(a) changes to the law,(b) new regulatory requirements, or(c) improvements or enhancements made to our Services.If you don’t agree with the updates we make, please cancel your account before they become effective.

 

By continuing to use or access the Services after the updates come into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

 

Acceptable use: We trust you to use our services responsibly.You agree not to misuse the Locum Passport services (“Services”) or help anyone else to do so. For example, you must not even try to do any of the following in connection with the Services:* probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network;* breach or otherwise circumvent any security or authentication measures;* access, tamper with or use non-public areas or parts of the Services, or shared areas of the Services you haven’t been invited to;* interfere with or disrupt any user, host or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming or mail-bombing any part of the Services;* access, search or create accounts for the Services by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces (for example “scraping” or creating accounts in bulk);* send unsolicited communications, promotions or advertisements, or spam, send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information, including “spoofing” or “phishing”, promote or advertise products or services other than your own without appropriate authorisation, abuse referrals or promotions to get more storage space than deserved, circumvent storage space limits, sell the Services unless specifically authorised to do so;* publish or share materials that are unlawfully pornographic or indecent, or that contain extreme acts of violence, advocate bigotry or hatred against any person or group of people based on their race, religion, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual preference, disability or impairment, violate the law in any way, including storing, publishing or sharing material that’s fraudulent, defamatory or misleading; or violate the privacy or infringe the rights of others.

Your privacy is important to Locum Passport, so we’ve created a privacy policy that covers how we collect,  disclose, store, transfer and use your information. 

 

Collection and use of personal information. 
Personal information is any data or content that can identify a single person and the Locum Passport may ask you to provide your personal information anytime you use our service or are in contact with us or our affiliates.

 

We may share this information with our affiliates and improve our service (for instance, to improve our products or advertising).

 

You are not required to provide any personal information, but if you chose not to, we may not be able to provide you with our service or respond to any query you may have. Here are some examples of the type of personal information we may collect and how it may be used:

 

When you create an account with the Locum Passport and begin to use our service, update the app, register for a pro account or contact us, we may collect a variety of information to provide, improve and protect our services.

 

Account: Information such as your name, email address, phone number, payment records (but not payment information such as credit card details) and account activity are collected and associated with your account. 

 

Services: Our service is designed to make it simple for you to store your compliance data, maintain it and transfer it to others. To make that possible, we store, process and transmit your data (images, data, and information related to them)This related information can be things like your profile information to make it easier to share your documents with others that you chose. Our service provides different options for sharing your data. You may choose to manually enter a recipients email address manually or use our partnered agency feature to send your data to. If you do, we’ll store these contacts for easy use in the future.

 

Usage: We collect information relating to how you use the services, including actions you take in your account, such as sharing, viewing, updating and uploading your files. This helps us to provide you features like your passport history.

 

We also collect information from and about the device you use to access the service. This may include the device you use and personal identifiers associated with your device (to make you aware of unusual activity).

 

Sharing: We may share your information with others working for or on behalf of, Locum Passport. The locum passport uses certain trusted third parties (e.g It support and distribution channels) to help us provide, improve and protect our services.

 

Third parties will only access your information to perform tasks on our behalf in compliance with this privacy policy, and will remain responsible for their handling of your information in accordance with our instructions.

 

Law: We may disclose your information to third parties we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a)comply with the law; (b) protect you or any other person from injury or death; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of our service and other users; (9)protect the Locum passports property rights.

 

Retention: We’ll retain the information you store on our services for as long as we need it to provide you with the service.

 

If you delete your account, we’ll also delete this information but please beware that there may be a time delay in completing the deletion from our servers, cloud and redundancy storage and we may retain this information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations or to enforce our agreements.

 

You can access your personal information by logging into your Locum Passport app.

 

Your data will be stored locally in EU and if possible, UK based data centers and may also be stored on the device you use to access the service.
